Big Stone House 7: 6 min Center and 500m Parq Ubud

The spacious, clean, new-looking room on the ground floor is in a solid, massive stone house, at the edge of the green field. The house was built in neo-classic Balinese tradition and located to the North of Ubud - you can expect more low temperatures here. This room will be a great choice for travelers who are looking to stay not far from Ubud Center. There is a construction site nearby and you can hear the noise during the day. This is why we keep low price now.

Step inside the grounds via the stone gate, go straight along the small path near the pool and find your room in the left building (for your information there are 2 similar buildings on the grounds), right near the pool and in front of the pool.

This cozy, well-maintained room is located near the office room and it provides extra safety. Go inside the room and find a comfortable king-size bed, wardrobe, mini fridge, nightstands, and table (can be used for work) with a mirror. There is an attached en-suite bathroom with a shower.

The big trees give some shadow; the water in the pool in luring; the neighborhood is quiet and amazed by its Balinese charm. There is a friendly and welcoming vibe here that you will feel from the first minute.

Bali is experiencing an investment and building boom and there are a few buildings around that are ongoing. That means you can hear the noise during the daytime (until sunset).

There is no designated parking for the cars. It can be a problem to park your car nearby as an adjacent road is narrow and the buildings are very close to the road.

Even though the distance to Parq Ubud is actually 500 meters, to get there you need to bypass the river and the way will be around 2 km long.

The distance to the main Ubud street, Jl. Raya Ubud is about 2 km. Many of our guests go to the center by walk even though there are no pavements along the road. The way from the guesthouse to the center is especially comfortable because the road is going down.

Please be informed that in the tropical climate of Bali the ants can appear in minutes even in the cleanest and most well-maintained houses and we can't promise that you will not meet them. If you will face with this such a case inform us and we will make an additional cleaning as fast as we can.

In every Balinese house or villa from time to time, you can notice geckos. They usually appear on the walls and ceilings and can spend hours there, expect different small insects. In most cases, they have a size of up to 10 centimeters but sometimes they can be bigger. They are not dangerous and are a part of the Balinese cultural identity. Because of that, you can often see the gecko symbols on the gates and walls of Balinese houses. According to some traditions, the geckos in the house are a symbol of family happiness and harmony. Please note, we can do nothing about geckos and they live outside or in small cracks and can always penetrate the house. The deletion of one of them doesn't lead to their absence. After an absence for a day or even a few hours, that's quite likely that you will find traces of the presence of the geckos (dust, small lumps of earth, waste products) on the surface of the floors, chairs, beds, and tables. If you found such traces and need help, inform us and we will make an extra cleaning.
