The villa Sun is located close to central Ubud, but aside from big street. This is a very quiet and peaceful new-build villa with spacious territory, 3 lovely green lawns, the private pool and amazing view at the jungle. The land are fenced and safety. There are 2 rooms with solid Balinese furniture and sense of style. Our villa will be the perfect solution for those, who want to stay close to nature and feel a vibe of Balinese culture, but got used to standards and style of 4-stars hotels.
Our villa is located to the South from central Ubud, just in 20 minutes by walk or 5-7 minutes by scooter/car from Yoga Barn, Coco Supermarket, Monkey Forest (distance according popular online map is 2.6 km). The location is comfortable for short-term rentals, because only one straight road goes to the downtown from our turn point.
The small pass to our villa begins at the big popular road Jl. A.A. Gede Rai. You turn to this pass and move straight around 2-3 minutes by the narrow road, along the walls, decorated by street graffiti. In the end of village at the left side of road is located our land plot. You can park your car at the big parking space.
The house is located at the small hill, so you have to make a few steps up before you enter to the house. Such high position and absence others houses close by have allow the wind to blow through the territory and present a freshness. There is a wonderful view at the jungle and palm trees from our porch.
The central part of villa, dinning room&public space with kitchen, quite big and spacious, with dinning table, contemporary fridge and authentic pews and chairs. 2 paintings of Balinese artists are decorated walls. The fresh breeze easy permeates to this room from the street.
From hall you can enter to the rooms. There is a wooden classic Balinese furniture in every room, air conditioner, TV panel, wi-fi. Both rooms have a door to the outside with view at the pool and jungle and door to the kitchen. The bathrooms are very new and comfortable for city residents.

Bali is experiencing an investment and building boom and there are a few buildings around that are ongoing. That means you can hear the noise during the daytime (until sunset)
Please be informed that in the tropical climate of Bali the ants can appear in minutes even in the cleanest and most well-maintained houses and we can't promise that you will not meet them. If you will face with this such a case inform us and we will make an additional cleaning as fast as we can.
In every Balinese house or villa from time to time, you can notice lizards. They usually appear on the walls and ceilings and can spend hours there, expect different small insects. In most cases, they have a size of up to 10 centimeters but sometimes they can be bigger. They are not dangerous and are a part of the Balinese cultural identity. Because of that, you can often see the lizard symbols on the gates and walls of Balinese houses. According to some traditions, the lizards in the house are a symbol of family happiness and harmony. Please note, we can do nothing about lizards and they live outside or in small cracks and can always penetrate the house. The deletion of one of them doesn't lead to their absence. After an absence for a day or even a few hours, that's quite likely that you will find traces of the presence of the lizards (dust, small lumps of earth, waste products) on the surface of the floors, chairs, beds, and tables. If you found such traces and need help, inform us and we will make an extra cleaning.
Take note that Bali is located in South-East Asia in the high humidity climate. As a result, if you visit Bali during the so-called Musim Hujan season (rain season) or just during the rainy weeks it may happen that after a few days with especially strong rains, in some places the walls may get wet (small spots). It may be visible inside the house. Also, be informed, that after that, at the surface of these wet spots in the aggressive tropical climate, the signs of mold may appear very fast - genuinely during a few hours. It can happen at any time, for example, on the night before your arrival and we are not always able to see such problematic places in time. Because of that, If you come and find wet or moldy places or bad-looking walls, inform us. To delete potentially unhealthy places on the walls, we will make an extra treatment as soon as possible (usually for a couple of hours). We will use a natural but effective way to delete the signs of mold and provide healthy conditions for your stay.
