Built from bricks and wood, ideally located at the end of a very narrow alley (available only for scooters) near the jungle, surrounded by the ricefields this 2BDR house with spacious grounds within 5-7 minute's drive to Ubud most center will be a the best shelter for those who plan to stay not far from Ubud center but still be close to the nature. Unlike most 2BDR Ubud villas, this house has a separate closed kitchen, a lawn and a few other nice corners.
This is a big house at the end of a long narrow alley with a rice field behind the fence on the left and jungle from another side of the house.
The grounds are quite big with a classic Balinese gazebo (get some rest with a view at the rice field and jungle), bar table, lounge table and nice small pathes. Being in this house, you understand that we didn't try to built as many rooms as possible but thought about guest's comfort and Ubud's cultural vibrations.
Every room has all the necessary features for a comfortable life.
Authentic Balinese wooden furniture and traditional queen-size beds with comfortable mattresses create a calm and nice atmosphere. Night lamps allow to create a warm and home atmosphere in the nighttime. Classical paintings remind of century-old Balinese life and unique culture. There is a compact safe box for your valuables.
The kitchen has enough stuff to prepare food and has a big tick-wood dinner table. Our kitchen is a genuinely unique option in Ubud where the owners usually try to squeeze the kitchen between 2 bedrooms.

You can't be dropped off from a car right near the house. If you come by car be ready to bring your luggage by walking around 150 m. If you drive a scooter, you can park right near the entrance door.
There is no designated parking for the cars. It can be a problem to park your car nearby as an adjacent road is narrow and the buildings are very close to the road.
Please be informed that in the tropical climate of Bali the ants can appear in minutes even in the cleanest and most well-maintained houses and we can't promise that you will not meet them. If you will face with this such a case inform us and we will make an additional cleaning as fast as we can.
In every Balinese house or villa from time to time, you can notice geckos. They usually appear on the walls and ceilings and can spend hours there, expect different small insects. In most cases, they have a size of up to 10 centimeters but sometimes they can be bigger. They are not dangerous and are a part of the Balinese cultural identity. Because of that, you can often see the gecko symbols on the gates and walls of Balinese houses. According to some traditions, the geckos in a house are a symbol of family happiness and harmony. Please note, we can do nothing about geckos and they live outside or in small cracks and can always penetrate the house. The deletion of one of them doesn't lead to their absence. After an absence for a day or even a few hours, that's quite likely that you will find traces of the presence of the geckos (dust, small lumps of earth, waste products) on the surface of the floors, chairs, beds, and tables. If you found such traces and need help, inform us and we will make an extra cleaning.
