Built in 2022-23 years on the edge of the ricefield in a premium location close to Ubud Center (just 500 meters from Ubud Center and 1km to Yoga Barn, Arma Museum, and European-style supermarkets), this easy-reachable compact guesthouse with a friendly modern vibe will be a great dock for a couple, small young family, for the digital nomads, freelancers or independent world explorers and travelers. This room is on the 2nd floor with a view on the village.
The space
Come to have a rest or work remotely in the room, equipped with a desk with a chair, double bed, wardrobe, sofa, TV panel, mirror, and, of course, an ensuite private bathroom with a shower. This room is on the ground floor just right in front of the pool - just open the door and jump to the pool literally from the threshold.
Except for the room itself and the shared pool, feel free to use sun beds and the well-equipped shared kitchen.
The shared spaces are constructed and decorated in a balanced way: the light partitions split the space into a few zones, such as a kitchen, rest pool area, sitting area, and entrance area. The white walls of the building with a combination of the blue water in the pool (thanks to the blue tiles) bring a tropical mood of easy living and rest. Up on the second floor and find a spacious place designated for two Balinese temples; enjoy the view of the fields and local households around.
Other things to note
You can reach the one of central Ubud crossroad (Jl. Cok Gede Rai and Jl. Raya Teges) by walking (10 min by walk according to the popular map - 800 meters).
Please be informed this is a house in the tropic near the rice field. That means different insects, especially ants and moths, may easily and fast appear especially during the rainy season. We provide regular and thorough cleaning but you need to understand that ants can appear within a few minutes. In such cases, please use repellent (we have it in the kitchen) or contact us for extra cleaning.
Our house is located at the end of the gang (Indonesian "alley") and there are no local households door to door with our house. That means that you will not hear the chickens and the chance to meet a dog right near the house is not big.
Also, please note, that we have a light near the villa but the alley itself can be dark in the nighttime. We recommend using a flashlight.
In every Balinese house or villa from time to time, you can notice geckos. They usually appear on the walls and ceilings and can spend hours there, expect different small insects. In most cases, they have a size of up to 10 centimeters but sometimes they can be bigger. They are not dangerous and are a part of the Balinese cultural identity. Because of that, you can often see the gecko symbols on the gates and walls of Balinese houses. According to some traditions, the geckos in the house are a symbol of family happiness and harmony. Please note, we can do nothing about geckos and they live outside or in small cracks and can always penetrate the house. The deletion of one of them doesn't lead to their absence. After an absence for a day or even a few hours, that's quite likely that you will find traces of the presence of the geckos (dust, small lumps of earth, waste products) on the surface of the floors, chairs, beds, and tables. If you found such traces and need help, inform us and we will make an extra cleaning.
